K-12 HP Technology for Teaching Grant Initiative (U.S. and Puerto Rico)

K-12 award package
The 2008 K-12 HP Technology for Teaching grant award includes several elements. The award package is valued at more than $38,000. Each of the five teachers on the school's project team received*:
an HP Tablet PC with Microsoft Windows Vista Tablet PC Edition
a multimedia projector
an HP digital camera
an HP Officejet printer, scanner, copier
a $500 stipend
customized professional development opportunities to support the use of technology in their teaching and support from a mentor with experience integrating technology in the K-12 environment. The professional development program will be delivered on HP's behalf by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
